The level of skill and knowledge of every trainee is assessed and people who can demonstrate a satisfactory level of operational competence would be given employee documentation and Operator Certification cards.
Theory Training
The trainer guides those training through an interactive and comprehensive review in the theory training. The operator workbook is studied which covers all applicable regulations. Other subject matters such as different equipment types in addition to different sizes and associated applications, safe operating measures, pre-use checks and general work place safety are explored individually.
Theory Evaluation
The evaluation of the theory parts begins with a written test, that focuses on the course concepts that was covered in the reference manual. Exams are graded and returned to the one training. The tests are then reviewed to ensure understanding and a score of at least 70 percent is considered necessary so as to pass this portion of the training.
Practical Training
The hands-on part of the program is covered in the practical training. Here, trainees are shown the safe operating measures, the parking and shutdown procedures and the pre-use check measures. Every one training has the chance to operate the equipment and practice the skills they learned throughout Theory Training under the program trainer's helpful eye in an environment which is safety controlled.
Practical Evaluation
The assessment of the practical portion is where the trainee is evaluated as to whether they have the minimum level of skill. Those training are individually tested on their skills using the machine in a somewhat challenging course environment. When the assessment is complete, the trainees are de-briefed and given the opportunity to address whatever issues they might have regarding any portion of the program. Every successful trainee's employer will be given the official records and documents immediately after the program has been completed.
